Windows Defender

We have two Administrors logged on to our system.

Windows Defender is on both sides.

Do I take it that if WDefender is run on one account this does not "run" on the other Administrator's account?

Many thanks

I think that it runs on all users of the computer regardless of wheather they are administrator or limited.

also limited and administrators have the same power in which to execute the programe, update definition files scan and remove any detected spyware.

It scans the whole pc, so it dosn't matter which account you start it from.

Incidentially, futurekid, I can only update defender if my account has admin priv, in a limited acc the update part is greyed out.
