How does it compare with Adaware

  Meshuga 15:32 01 Mar 2006

I don`t think you can make a true comparison as all these type of programs have advantages & disadvantages compared to each other. Some will pick up things that others won`t . I run both progs + one or two others. Belt & braces if you like. After all, they are free.

Defender... works continuously in the back ground and will update itself.

Adaware..has to be udated manually and run manually..unless of course you have the full version, then im not sure if you have to run it or it works in real time.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

I also use both, and various other free programs.

Hope this helps!
