Windows error code 10 indicates a hardware error or failed driver installation

Access device Manager and uninstall driver reboot and re-install driver

Driver download Via Network Card Rhine II Fast Ethernet 10/100 3.3

manager, if i uninstall it and reboot windows

broken?

From Device Manager's Network Adapters>Rhine II>highlight>Properties>General tab, is the device still Enabled in the drop down menu?

I`ve also noticed that when the ethernet cable is plugged into lan port 2 lights come on,
one green and one yellow, is that telling me that something is wrong maybe?

“2 lights come on, one green and one yellow, is that telling me that something is wrong maybe?”

Green light on is normal it shows that you are connected to the modem/router

Yellow light on the entire time mean that either the cable is bad or the nic card is not working

Yellow light should be off and flask when you accessing the local network or Internet

Try a new cable or install a new nic card

ok cool but the nic is onboard, no free pci slots,
nic must be dead, anyone know where i can get a cheap new amd skt754 mobo?

also i used the same cable into my laptop and it worked, dont know why nic just stopped working?

Try a system restore to the day before it stopped working.
