Nearly every time I plug or unplug a USB flash drive the previously allocated drive letter changes, also the letters of other drives (apart from C:)change also and no matter how often I go into System Manager and switch them back again it makes no difference. Does anyone know of a sure-fire way of nailing these letters down for good?

Letter Assigner 1.1.2
Letter Assigner allows to assign any letter to any drive in Windows 95/98 and MS-DOS ( with a few non-significant exceptions ). It remebers drives by their serial numbers or by the labels, which provides protection against letter changes after repartitioning or connecting new drives. It also prevents non-bootable situations that may occur when Windows directory is located on a drive other than C. The easy, intuitive interface offers simple methods to choose letters, to move them from one drive to another and to view the free letter set. Letter Assigner also allows to easily view and change device properties for each drive.
