Windows '98 and spyware removal.

After sorting out a small problem with my Father in laws PC, I noticed he had a lot of rubbish on it.

It's windows '98, and I was just wondering if all the usual suspects (ad-aware, sybot, ccleaner and spywareblaster etc) work OK with it.

I have Win98 and Ad-aware, Spybot and Ccleaner all work fine with it. I think most anti-spyware and anti-virus software does.

As far as I know, Win98 is still the most used OS.

Agree with Dan. I used the above plus AVG with 98se except for Spywareblaster. Only because I had not got round to using it then [I do now with XP] but can see no reason for it not working.

I'm also using Win98. Spyware tools like lavasoft ad aware work well with it.
Also, AV like AVG works ok with it.
One of the few usual suspects that doesn't work with it tho is Zone Alarm.
