i'm use a 486 to help me fix another problem.
but the 486 keeps comming up with "an error has occurred in the script on this page" and "do you want to continue running scripts". whenever some pages are trying to open up on the internet.
I have tried checking and unchecking the 'script debugging" box in 'Internet Options'in control panel, too no avail.
It has AVG FREE 6 install.
Any patches or ideas you know of please.
thanks,
dave d.

I encountered this problem with IE5.5 and W98. Unchecking script debugging and downloading latest patches fixed the problem.
