What files can safely be deleted following an upgrade from 95 to 98. I know there are some files saved to disc in case the user wants to revert back to 95 and that they take up a fair bit of space. What files extensions are they?

Seems a shame no one has given you an answer yet, perhaps this will give your thread another chance.

My guess, and it is only that, goes back a long way - to converting Windows 3.1.1 to 95. I am pretty sure that the old Dos directory/folder was renamed OLDDOS. Can you spot any "foreigners" on your C: drive?

If you use disk clean up from the system tools is there the option to remove old 95 installation files?
