my ram in my comp was faulty the engineer came out and replaced it but since this happened i have 24 folders in my windows that were not there before one is $MtService the rest are $NtUninstall do i need these folders or can i delete them it may have been me trying to get into windows before the long bleep came letting me no it was the ram thanks leo

I think the $NtUninstall files are to do with windows "Hotfixes" and are required by each Hotfix if you wish to un-install it. I also think these are normally under hidden folders/files so you would not see them.

Turn off the show hidden files and see if they disappear. If you are sure the hot fixes are working fine and you will not be removing them then it's safe to delete them.

Sorry I can't be more precise on this but not knowledgeable on these myself and had to search for the info. j.

thanks Djohn they were supose to be hidden the went when i ticked the dont show hidden files thanks for your help leo
