I intend to get a new computer with windows7 installed. some of my programmes use midi files. Does anyone know whether there is a way of using these on the new pc?

Thanks for response Lazarus the 2nd. I do have many midi files which I play as you say using Media player etc.but I have 4 programmes 'The Pianist', 'The Blues Pianist', 'The Jazz Pianist' and 'The Bluegrass Band'. These 4 programmes together play over 1000 tunes, and can manipulate each tune it plays. In other words each is a stand-alone prog. and cannot play any other tunes. Hence my question.

If you check the PGMusic website, these programs are listed as compatible with Vista which will also be fine for Windows 7.
