Is there any way of making a backup of Windows XP? I only got a recovery CD from Evesham, not the full Win XP CD. Is there any way of creating the full XP CD from my own PC?

I only want to use it in case of i encounter any problems with my own PC, not to use for piracy.

Thanks

The XP CD From evesham is the full XP CD. They just dont let you see the backup facility in XP.

Pop the XP CD in the drive.

Go to start > Run > Type:

D:\VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP

Where D is the letter of your CD-ROM Drive.

Double-click the Ntbackup.msi file and let it finish. Backup is then avavilable.

Misunderstood.

But as i say the The XP CD From evesham is the full XP CD.

Thats fine if the evesham CD is the full XP CD I dont need to make a backup. I was under the impression the product recovery CD didnt have the full version of XP on it.

Thanks Lú-tzé and Powerless.
