Win media player 10 DRM problem

  lixdexik 16:41 06 Jan 2008

I have just bought a theme music track from the Tesco download site.
The track was downloaded as a WMP file and will not play on my WMP10, claiming that I do not have a licence to play this legally purchased track because of the DRM. There is a message that pops up stating that my DRM need updating and offers a link to a site where I can purchase a licence. The link goes nowhere. I have just downloaded 59 win xp updates including one for Media player 10, but still I have the message about Digital Rights Management needing updated. Where do I go from here.

All advice gratefully received.

Cheers Lixdexik

MCE2K5, I checked out the link you gave and it seems what is happening is what is ment to happen, but the link on the message I get to aquire a licence does not work. I'll try again later and see what happens.
