Hi everone

In WinME Device manager the DVD Rom is being reported as a CD Rom- how do i change this to enable me to watch DVD's or is it up-to-date DVD viewing software i need.

You need a DVD program such as PowerDVD - there are also free options available: click here and have a look at what is needed.

Thanx once again Diodorus Siculus for your advice. Could you tell me why ME reports it as a CD ROM.

It simply doesn't know the difference as far as I can tell... many OSs simply record it as being a generic CDROM drive.

I have istalled the software and it tells me that the ESDI Driver and the ASPI Manager may have been replaced by older/incompatible versions - do you know how to get these back.

Thanx again
