I'm getting a full page on firefox asking me to update to win live 2011, this is after upgrading messenger.

Malware/spybot and win security scans find nothing but the page still pops up, its annoying.

I have also cleared cookies and internet history with no effect.

hi all ...
i think i might have it sorted ...
on the page that is popping up (yes firefox)there is a link to an opt out under "about adverts".
selected to opt out ,hope that will be the end of the pop up for "win live 2011".
will test for an hour and confirm .

If you go to the Windows Live site you will see that hundreds of other people are having the same problem. I'm getting it about 10 times everyday and it is now beyond the annoying stage. I want to go back to version 2009 but as I understnd it you cannot download the older version anymore.

Why do Microsoft keep changing things that work as there are many things missing in the new version like the little web cam which told you and other people that you could chat with each other using a camera
