I'm clearing out my old PC and I would like to backup the Win98 SE upgrade files so that I can reinstall them. (The PC is no longer connected to the internet.) Where do I find them?
Cannot be done unless you saved them to Disc. the files are all over the drive in folders. Which does Which and what does what
Backup files upgrade files? As far as I can remember they'll be in your SYSTEMS directory.Haven't you got the Win 98 SE install cd?
Beth means 98se downloaded updates as with XP
Problem solved in 1 goclick hereall the updates for 98v2 in 1.

You can download these and burn to cd or even copy to a usb pen drive for later installation.
