Thinking about a new laptop with Win7 64 bit but worried about the programs I would want to transfer from my present laptop which is Win7 32bit.
Is there some sort of advisor program for this?
Would I have to go to the manufacturer of each program and ask about compatability?

Thanks for looking

Thanks John, I didnt realize that Win Upgrade Advisor has a 64 bit selection - all my stuff is OK it says.

Good luck. I now have W7 64 bit and I did upgrade Roxio Creator and Acronis True Image to the 2010 versions. Also found that Photoshop CS4 is ok but can only use the 32bit version (both install together) for Twain interface scanning on my Canon MP.
