ok so i got my current setup on my pc.

if i change the motherboard, all i have to do is just plug everything into the new motherboard and hey presto right???

or will i have to install anything again?

i mean everything should already be installed on my drives right (XP pro etc...) and i won't need to install anything again will i?

i mean all i do is just change over the bits n bobs and just boot up as normal right???

Possible, but not definate, and not good practice. The new motherboard will have a different chipset, and require different drivers. Ideally take the opportunity to have a good clearout by a fresh install of everything.

not too keen on doing fresh installs. i've got too much work to back up. can't exactly back up 50gig of data! :o(
