Will a ADSL router work on cable

Geting fed up with my present I.S.P. Tiscali as they can not upgrade me, so considering moveing to NTL. The question is am I going to have to invest in a new router.

The present router is a Origo ASR-8400.

Yes. The Router you have now is an ADSL Router Modem. You'll need a Cable/DSL Router (i.e. without the modem).

neighbour has NTL and he's not over the moon with them. I moved to Plusnet little while ago and they seem fine so far,with a bit of luck you present router will do

thanks seedie, looked at there phone prices and though naugh, thinking of Plusnet now myself.
