ever since i got ie7 my pc goes alot slower. looking at the task manager it often uses very large percentages of cpu even though it isnt doing anything. I've run virus scan etc etc.

I know ie is the devil but its the standard and generally works on most sites.

is this a known issue or is it someting i'll have to live with if i want to use ie.

Any advice very much appreciated.

Thanks
Peter

Try tools, internet options, advanced and reset internet explorer setting.
