Try closing all open web pages bar one - then maximise that one and close. Next time you open the problem should be rectifed.

or on that one web page - stretch it by dragging the edges to fill the screen - then close the broswer and reopen the new page should then be the same size.

click here That will run in the background and maximise all new IE windows (but not popups unless you want) I have used this for a long while since I had Windows 98 SE.

I have this running on Windows 7 64bit and although it hasn't been updated for a long while it works fine.

Just to say this shouldn't really be needed, but it's a quick fix

To open new IE windows full size

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer that are currently open, except for one.

2. Right click a link on the web page and select Open in new window.

3. Close the first instance of the browser that was originally open using the “X” in the top right-hand corner.

4. Resize the existing window by dragging the top and sides until it is full screen again.

5. Click the “X” in the top right-hand corner while holding down the Ctrl key.

The next time you open your browser, the window will once again appear full screen.
