Why is C:programs/internet, loading on boot up?

  pcbobby 18:47 16 Mar 2008

OS XP Home

I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox for my daughter.
Now, for some strange reason, when the PC boots up, it does not stop when Desktop is fully loaded, it continues on to load C:programs/Internet.

I would be grateful for advice on how to put this problem right.
Thank you

Do you mean that folder appears on the desktop?

See if there is an entry to C:programs/Internet in MSCONFIG, Start > Run, type in MSCONFIG > Startup tab) or in your Startup Folder.

Why not use System restore to before you loaded firefox, Then disable Anti-Virus and try again to load it
