Why am I being asked for my username and password?
I have always ticked the box that says remember my username and password (it is still ticked) but now I am being asked to confirm them before it will let me access my emails. I have entered every possible combination that I could conceiveably ever have used but to no avail.
I understand that if I still have not entered the correct details then I will be blocked, but the "remember me" box has always been ticked so why am I being denied?

Quite possibly your mail provider service is down at the moment - suggest you try again later.

I went on to the Virgin website where I was allowed to reset my password (I needed to know my account number). The username used to be only the first part of my email address but now it is all of it.
