Which will give the greatest realtime protection

  FatboySlim71 19:15 03 Nov 2006

I was wondering if anyone could be of help to which one of these programs will provide the greatest level of real time protection, I only want to have one real time protection program running as I scan daily with the rest of these programs, the programs I would like to know which will provide the greatest level of real time protection are,

Spyware doctor
Trend micro anti spyware
Windows defender
Spy sweeper
AVG anti spyware 7.5

I would go with AVG anti spyware 7.5 provided that it is the paid-up version that updates. If not, Windows Defender.

Others may well disagree since there isn't a straightforward answer.

I'm with VoG™ on this one.

wouldn't bother with Sptware doctor or trend anyway
