Hey, get a radeon 9600Pro. The Geforce cards are apparently nowhere near as good as ATI's when it comes to Directx 9 games. They have a radeon on ebuyer.co.uk for 99.99, minus vat and delivery. There are many favourable reviews of it, and there is also one at firingsquad.com. And because im feeling resourceful, here is the link. click here
Well, the Geforce 5600 and the Radeon 9600 pro are not that much faster than a Ti4200, they just have Directx 9 technology onboard. In fact, you look at most benchmarks, the Ti4200 is often faster than the two above cards! I have this card myself, and i haven't got any games that really tax it. I have yet to find a game that i can't play at 800x600 with all the bells and whistles switched on. Perhaps if your having trouble playing games you should lower your resolution or turn down some options like texture quality, or switch off anti-aliasing and Anistropic filtering.
ati run cooler and use smaller fans, and are also a lot quieter, i used to be loyal to nvidia until updated drivers for their 440 series cards knackered my system. so i moved to ati and have been greatly satisfied, and they give great potential for overclocking safely
