I recently bought a used Pioneer A06, external DVD reader/writer. It will write to a CD-R but not to the DVD-R or DVD+RW disks that I've tried. Any ideas what DVD disks I should get? Thanks, Cheers.

Can I first ask what software you are using to burn the DVDs as windows XP built in burner will only write to CDS?

I installed a free Ashampoo prog; it took an hour to figure out how to use it but I successfully burned a DVD+RW. I've just d/l'ed ImgBurn 2.3.2.0 and will try that as well. Thanks to all.
