Which Connection cable?

Looking at this post click here got me thinking which is the best cable connection to use.
I have a Dell U2410,which although a pricy monitor,is a great one.
Should I use the DVI connection cable or the Displayport cable? Both my HD5770's have the displayport port.

You won't tell any difference or extra quality gain from using a DisplayPort cable on your Dell U2410 instead of a DVI cable since the monitor only supports upto 1920x1200.

What interested me was that DisplayPort can do and supports upto 7680x3200 click here and am considering getting 2 more 30" monitors.

ATM only ATI cards support DisplayPort while Nvidia is using a different technology click here to support Multi-Display gaming.

I'll wait and see what the next Nvidia card version will be otherwise very reluctantly I'll be forced to use ATI.

I have also discovered that ATI's Catalyst Control Center does not support desktop cloning which I find is a nuisance.
