which one would you buy.. for some gaming..video editing..

I would choose the Acre as it has a better graphics card.

I wouldn't touch an Acer with a barge pole
but of course that's my personal preference from having tried to repair so many of them.

IMHO the HP's are better quality and therefore most likely to be more reliable.

..Confuse things, by arguing about brand, but the Acer is better for two reasons.

1) 2Gb Ram

2) Better graphics

If your prefer HP, than ask for a memory upgrade at the same price.
