hey how r u doing?
am not in experience in computer but just learning from u,hope u can help me,which one is best,intel celeron or amd sempron processors?if i get budget i knwo i can go for intel pentium or amd athlon?please reply.

I would go for a Sempron in preference to a Celeron, any day, for general everyday computing. As for Pentium versus Athlon, it depends rather on your budget and what you intend to use the PC for and which particular processors you are comparing.

I concur, the Celeron D has closed the gap on the Sempron a lot, I suspect that most users wouldn't notice a difference, but the Sempron still has the edge.

Can't comment on Celeron but have Sempron in daughters machine and am more than happy with it.

Celeron < Sempron

Athlon < Pentium

Pentium < Sempron

Athlon < Celeron

It all really depends on money and what you would use them for.
