Which antivirus package should i buy? Where is a good price for it?
try AVG it is free and is easy to use and does not cause any trouble unlike some anti virus you could pay for.click herei use it and so do a lot of others on this forum
Got ot agree with obbit about AVG. Also you might want to try the free version of the ZoneAlarm firewall click here
dont use CrapAfee .. oops I meant McAfee.. ive seen this miss loads of viruses that it has signature files for.. I recomend Norton 2003, it costs £45.00 and is well worth it.
AVG free click here
NOD32 - every time - just read the facts, not opinions, about speed and virus detection.click here
click here never used it, but if your after free its an alternative to AVG...I use click here no probs, simple, it'll do me!
avast 4 ! click here free and more advanced than AVG 6.0, with better virus bulletin test results click here
Go for Norton 2003, its the beez neez. Also download the free 'Stinger' fron systemax, it totally kicks butt with the 20 or so most up to date viruses, its a must.
I also use Norton A/V 2003, and it has never let me down. Norton update their web site every working day with a new virus definition file.Remember, any A/V programme will only be effective IF you keep it regularly updated.I have heard that a 2004 version of Norton A/V is shortly to be released.
