Hi all

New to this website and have basic PC knowledge. I have a wireless router at home and use my laptop to connect to the net wirelessly. I have a secure router and I need my WEP key to let my PS3 gain access to the network.

However, I can't remember what my WEP key is? Is there somewhere on my laptop it is stored? Alternatively, how do I get around this problem?

Logon to your router and look in the Wireless section. You will find it there. If you need help with logging onto your router, post back with the make and model.

Also look on the underside of the router, should be printed there.

To logon to a D-Link router:
Open your Web browser and enter: into the address bar of the browser. This is an internal IP address to the router setup.
When prompted, enter the user ID and password for the router. By default, the user ID is admin and the password is left blank.
Once the router's setup page opens, find the Wireless section and you should be able to read the WEP key.
