Where to go from MS Money 98?

  Thanaset 14:42 24 Jul 2006

Well, I am thinking about upgrading my personal finance software. I have used MS Money 98 for a long time since it came out, and because I really like it, I haven't thought of upgrading. Thinking about getting a newer version, which one should I go for? Would there be a significant improvement? What about compatability issue? Basically, I don't want to lose my financial record.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Take a look at Money Manager, click here.

Money Manager is a personal finance software. It primarily helps organize one's finances and keeps track of where, when and how the money goes.

Oh yes, it's also free.

Got to admit I havn't tried this yet, as I still use Quicken 98.

Hope this helps.

I must agree with vinnyT, it is a good bit of software. Additionally, if you have any needs/wants for inclusion you can always ask the developer via his site. I wont say he`ll agree to do what you ask but at least he`ll consider it.

If you want to get away from MS here is a good free one. I have been using it now for some time since Intuit stopped support/development of Quicken for the UK.

It is free and was written by the Father of one of the Forum Members.
