Where to get new software

I bought a new FW series Sony Vaio laptop just over 2 yrs ago, during that time it required to have the preloaded Vista reloaded 2 times, within the preloaded software was one for the inbuilt blueray player. 2 weeks ago i had the blue screen on start up, couldn't reload vista or troubleshoot and local shop confirmed the hard drive was knackered. They have put new hard drive, windows etc and some software, unfortunately they said they couldn't get the software for the blueray / copier. Trying to get Sony support seems to be very difficult, can anyone assist me to get the player working again or do i need to buy software that i have already paid for once when i bought the laptop.

There is a support tab on the Sony UK website.
You will need your serial number to get any further to discover exactly what is available but usually you will be able to find what you are after.
