Can I buy and download MS access 2003 on the internet or have MS stopped it and moved to 2007.

If not where is the best place to buy it from at a good price.

Thanks.

I don't think you'd be able to download it. Search pricerunner or google for it and look for most reputable site at cheapest price.

Or ebay?

Thanks. I wonder if I could successfully import it into open office Base ... does anyone have experience of importing access databases into open office Base ... does it work well? (This is only a fairly basic name/address/notes database.)

What is "It" ? You have an existing 2003 database?

Depends on the database, simple tables transfer to base well enough, queries and forms less well so if at all. Relational databases are a pain.

OK, I'll give it a try first, if it doesn't work I can always buy access. Yes, it is an MS access 2003 DB

MS Access is notorious for not converted properly to other formats.
From experience I have found that if you convert to Dbase IV format MS Access will tend to behave itself.
I would expect Open Office Base to import Dbase IV files without any problems as this file format was (& I think still is) virtually an industry standard.
