My computer freezes on shutting down stating it is trying to shut down windows Hosts file then goes into a blue screen BSOD. I understand the Hosts file needs editing on notepad but where do I find Windows 7 Hosts file on the computer?
Look here C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Thanks Chronus do you know what to edit please?
Sorry but a few more details are needed as I have not come across a hosts file causing a BSOD. Can you post the complete error message?
You could just update the hosts file here.
I have updated the mpvs hosts file and will see if this cures the problem. Thanks
