My copies of MSWord and MSExcel have been damaged and won`t load. They are old versions anyway year 2000.Does anyone know where I can buy the latest MS releases for these programs at a reasonable price? I would like them on CD not just a download.I run Win XP Home.

Maybe have a look here.

I think you need someone in full time education or at college to be able to qualify.

Office Home and Student 2007 has Word and Excel and can be found at a reasonable price (compared the other versions) click here

Butemans link is good. As long as you have a relation who is a student you'll be ok. Even distant cousins seems to be ok

Why not switch to OpenOffice, which is free. It'll do what MSOffice2000 does, plus some things MSOffice can't do.

Such as read the latest MSOffice formats, and output straight to pdf files.

And you can download it right now - no waiting.

Just one minor correction to DieSse. MS Office 2007 is able to output straight to pdf but you have to download the free add-on first.
