Where are my cookies

Hi all

At the risk of appearing to be a bit thick, since
upgrading to IE7 I cannot find where my cookies are stored. A search shows it to be in C:\documents and settings\default users. If I click on that I get a small entry "index data" 16kb. In IE6 I could see a list of all cookies and delete manually the ones I did not want.

Any Idea please where I can find them

Enable cookies - Internet Explorer 7.x

1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
(Windows XP Classic View - click on Windows Start button and select Settings and Control Panel).
2. Double-click the Internet Options icon.
3. Select the Privacy tab.
4. Under Settings, click Advanced button.
5. Check the box Override automatic cookie handling under Cookies section in Advanced Privacy Settings window.
6. Under First-party Cookies, select Accept.
7. Under Third-party Cookies, select Accept.
8. Check the box Always allow session cookies.
9. Click OK.
10. Click OK to exit.

In My Computer go to Tools, Folder options, View, tick "Show hidden files and folders" and untick "Hide protected operating system files". You'll then find the Cookies folder in C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name.

You can make a shortcut to the folder while it's unhidden and it will stay unhidden when you reset your Folder options.
