Start/Run/ Type Msconfig then go to Startup tab

is there anything showing that could be related like an old program that hasn't uninstalled properly?

How do you connect to the internet? Is it from a simple wireless modem or via a wireless router? The reason I ask is that if you Google the problem there are many others with the same problem as you and they all say that connecting via a router solves their problem.

i connect with a wire through a belkin router.

as to Start/Run/ Type Msconfig then go to Startup tab
It looks ok, i'm not to sure what to look for also.?

Looking through your list rundll32 and NVCpl are essential

ashDisp is an Avast process and is needed.

StartEak is for easy acess buttons on Conpaq machines - up to you if you use them

jusched is the update scheduler for Java and is not necessary on startup

ctfmon will probably keep coming back even if you untick it

TeaTimer is part of SpyBot and I would try unticking it to see what happens. It is a constant programme monitor which personally I have never been happy with but others like it.

eraser does not need to run at startup.

yahoom~1 is Yahoo Messenger, need not be started on boot up unless you use it all the time and want it instantly on.

Omega Asio is for the Lexicon OMega professional sound system, I'm not sure about that.

wkcalrem is the Microsoft Works Calendar Reminder, needed on startup if you use it.
