Subscription to McAfee is up - Does anyone have any thought on what to go with now?

Had Norton and McAfee now and found them both good to use.

What about saving a few pennies and going with Zone Alarm and AVG?

I use AVG anti virus and it seems fine. It updates itself daily and has dedtected several viruses and cleansed them. I also use Sygate Technologies personal firewall which is also free. Both of these were recommended by PC advisor some time ago. I have been using bothe for a couple of years now and have had no trouble at all. Spybot is also a good freebie bet for detecting tracking cookies and the like.

Hope this helps

Is there a "best"?

Like above I have AVG, Adaware, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster and Sygate firewall. It is all a personal preference. If all the members of this Forum have all or some of these protection programmes then they are the best.
