Hiya All...

Does anyone know how to find out what version of XP Pro I have.
I know its 2600 build, but what I'm trying to find out is if it is an OEM,Retail or corporate build. It does not seem to say any where on the disk or paperwork.

I do know it should have some info like WXPOEM_EN, which I understand as Win XP OEM Version.

Depending on which version you have affects this Number.

Thanks for any help.

Right click My Computer\Properties.

All should be in here.

Sorry not sure what you are asking actually.

Do you know the code on the CD? Put the CD is the Drive and then look at the CD in Windows Explorer. Then look up the CD label on the page above to find out what CD you have.

Mine says Windows XP Pro. Versio 2002 SP1.

Under that it has who it is registered to and then:

xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx

Underneath that some brief Computer spec.

Should be the same in your machine.

Found out its a retail version from Rayuk's sugestion using aida32.

Question answered thanks everybody for your input.

When I used Aida32 it states its retail version in first section, but if I drop down further it states
xxxxx-OEM-xxxxx-xxxx
I know its an oem version.

Have you also checked that part?
