What Scanner?

I have an excellent Canon iP4300 printer. My old Tevion scanner is giving me problems so I want to replace it with a Canon scanner. I do not want an all in one because I like my printer.

If possible I would like a scanner which scans negatives but its not vital.

Can anyone please recommend a Canon scanner which would match up with my printer. I am not looking for something which is tremendously sophisticated. (with or without nagative scanning facilities.)

I would welcome your recommendations, even better where I would be able to purchase your recommendation.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I use a cheaper one with good results plus the one I use at the moment is a Epson Multi-Function Printer with Perfection scanner built in, also as the Slide and film scanner in the lid mine is a old Perfection 1250 that I no longer use and the Multi-Function is Epson RX620 this also as been superseded
