Get a magnifying glass and you will see the SW1 connector bottom left of the mobo. They're pretty straightforward, e.g. HD LED pos and neg. If you get the polarity wrong on some of them they will not work.

The USB2 is left of middle and is numbered in the same way as the SW1.

The SW1 connector is bottom right when the mobo is installed but the diagram shows it rotated 90 degrees to the right.

Are the instructions not on page 12?

Are the instructions not on page 12?
page 12 gives me instructions in spanish ( i think its spanish anyway)

Instructions for SW1

pin signal pin signal
--------------------------------
1 HD_LED_P 2 FP_PWR/SLP
--------------------------------
3 HD_LED_N 4 FP_PWR/SLP
--------------------------------
5 RESET_SW_N 6 POWER_SW_P
--------------------------------
7 RESET_SW_P 8 POWER_SW_N
--------------------------------
9 RSVD_DNU 10 KEY
--------------------------------

Which pin is pin 1 then 2 .. ect ...
on the SW1 on the motherboard ?
I cant find any of the above pins , I have a double HDD LED pin though ,

this may seem straightforward for most , but with my lack of knowledge im struggling :s

anymore assistance is gratefull
thanks

As I said before, get a magnifying glass and you will be able to see the pin numbers on the motherboard, which correspond to the diagram in the manual.

you also have to fix the cables in the right way round as well as the right socket.

the only one you need to boot the system is the " POWER SW ... has white and blue twisted cables "

So these need to be connected to pins 6 and 8 click here

these are located here click here. Connect those and boot the system.

You can work backwards on the remainder of the power connector pins. The reset switch will go oposite on pins 5 and 7. then the power led's on pins 1 and 3. click here click here

You have the roman numerals giving information in various languages. After that you have arabic numerals giving technical information in English. You want page 12 NOT page XII.

Hope this helps.
