have you specified multiple partitions?, with only 6.4GB to play with I would be surprised or is this what your boot disc is reporting?

To run ME after you have formatted put your OS disc in the CD drive, and reboot your PC, if it doesn't boot from cd reboot again and this time go into BIOS and set your cd to boot before your hard drive save and reboot and it should boot from your OS disc.

Are you partitioning the drive?

Make the C drive ( 1 ) active. Step 2 in fdisk.

At the a:\ type ME\setup and enter.

What partitions have you got?

Make 2 split the HDD in two 3.2G each install ME onto the C:\ drive
Start with win 98 boot disk, select with CD support

at the A:\ prompt type F:\ press enter (ou will have HDD partions c: and d: the boot floppy will have loaded tools to a tempory Ram disk e: so you CD will now be F:)
At F:\ type setup press enter and follow the prompts to install ME

Thanks all I am now up and running.
I was trying to install it from C: as though it was similar to loading Win98.
