Have you got Java installed?

  pj1664 16:50 01 Feb 2008

Its nothing u have done you need to go to AOL web page and on the top right hand click on setting and there you can make changes to your settings, I had the same problem and thats how I did it. Good luck.

Yes hiwatt I have Java installed,Peter.

  ferrispedro 17:07 01 Feb 2008

pj1664 what settings did you alter? Peter.

  MAT ALAN 17:31 01 Feb 2008

"your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded" CLUE...

  pj1664 17:37 01 Feb 2008

Peter, go to settings and under general you can either tick or untick to your preference as to what you allow and dont. Under reading there must be a tick on hide images from unknown senders, you will need to untick the box.

Thank you all(with one exception-prat!)I don't know what setting I messed up so I did a System Restore and am now back on the air. Peter.

  MAT ALAN 11:56 02 Feb 2008

I assume that is me, the CLUE was there, you need to READ the error messages to understand them, i am offended that you think i am a prat and whatever you think of the answers you get on here it is not the place to post offensive remarks....

Your comment (with one exception-prat!) referring to MAT ALAN post was totally out of order...
