AFP - Mohammed will likely become the most popular name for baby boys in Britain by the end of the year, The Times reported, citing government data.

I lived in Ireland for 12 years, all the locals seemed to be called, John, Johnnie, Jack, or Sean, (the Irish form of John ) I was I little confused at first when I tried to recall a persons name saying to myself surely he can't be John also.

Pat or Patrick would seem less popular. Now they are in the EU there was evidence of a lot of movement by different ethnic groups moving in, and I'm sure they will eventually have a fair proportion of Mohammed's.

Am I in the wrong place? Where's the Helproom?

I foresee a great money-making opportunity here!!

Presumably all these Mohammed's will need mosques to pray in. Let's all go out and build mosques.

Or have I missed the point?

Rather a strange post in the Helproom, maybe Speakers' Corner next time. Whilst I'm here, though, can I just say I am not responsible for the ethnic baby boom.

Looks like someone had too much to drink at lunchtime.
