I am planning to buy a Maxtor Hard drive to add as a second drive. I have Downloaded installation instructions and Maxblast from Maxtor. What comes with the OEM Harddrive? Do i Need to buy anything else to install?

Sorry you will already have the cable because it's a second drive.

Anyway, you will only need four screws.

Whoops - I should have refreshed - obviously meant that you need to buy more screws :-)

You will just get the hard drive in a rigid plastic packet. I don't think you would get an IDE cable, you usually get this with retail boxed. You may get the 4 screws.

Thats all you need basically You don't really need the maxblast software unless you have an older system. Depending on your bios you should be able to do everything via the bios and windows. It is a very easy procedure.
