What to clean a tft screen with. What do i use?

  Djohn 14:22 16 May 2004

Soft clean cloth dipped into a mild solution of soapy water and well wrung out so only slightly damp.

Wipe gently across the screen and buff with a soft dry cloth. j.

Isopropyl Alcohol. I got some from my local chemist last week. It cost £1.20 for 50ml. You only need a few drops on a soft cloth and it's also very good for cleaning CD surfaces.

Same as Djohn.

Steel wool and Swarfega is not an option.

It as also been suggested that if you have a pixel problem. Then a slight massage [in the fault area] with a slightly moist cotton bud, may solve the problem. I have never had need to try this, but there's always a first time!.

It does work but this only applies to faulty sub pixels,as if you do have a dead pixel thats it, its dead.

If the cotton bud doesnt work try the cloth you use for cleaning glasses[specs] with.
