What can (or should) I do about Cloudflare

  sidpenguin 19:10 19 Dec 2014

For no good reason that I know of something called Cloudflare has appeared out of the blue on my computer telling me it is checking my browser before I can connect to some websites. Where has this come from? How can I get rid of it? I object in principle to things interfering with my system without first asking permission or explaining what they are doing. Apologies if this is a naïve question, but I have never heard of Cloudflare before so I would like some explanation. Strangely, a straightforward Google search is not helping.

Firstly:don't visit any of the suggested sites.

Secondly: run Malwearbytes

click here package with something else you downloaded and installed recently.

Anything that change my DNS settings without my permission / knowledge I would be wary of and would want to remove.
