Have bought some dvd/cd labels from WH Smith and then realised that I should have bought the pack with the software in too. Is there a download version of it available anywhere or is it only available from their shops?

I'm not a registered member of Nero and notice there is a fee to pay.

Forgive me, a bit of a novice - whenever I click on something on the page you linked me to it asks for my login details.

Don't know of any for free but the best label software (which I use) is Discus: click here

You can download a Demo version to try it.

It is $39 (about £22)
It has templates for every type of DVD/CD including Direct printing using the Epson R series printers.

It also has 1000s of readymade backgrounds.
I have been using it since Version 1 (which in fact was a freebie on a Mag cover disk a long time ago). It is now up to version 3.10

The whole program is about 700mb so not available for download. But delivery by post is very quick.

I don't think version 5.5 supports DVD but you may be able to use it just for printing the label. You can buy version 6 which does support DVD from: click here

Suggest you go for OEM Suite 3 (5097) at £6.87.
