Could somebody tell me please how to set up automatic redirection (forwarding) from one website to another

most hosts have web forwarding and URL masking as well

to ask your host to do this for you, and provided the new domain (the one you're forwarding to) is being hosted already it is a very straightforward procedure.

My old website and my new website are both with the same host. I would like the redundant (old) which is .co.uk to be automatically forwarded to the other(new)which is .com

The site host does not seem to offer this facility as a matter of course.
