  DAZ WHITE 18:30 24 Jan 2003

I have problems once I have entered some websites,
If I choose an option from the home page or other, what may appear is just a blank white screen, though the egg timmer contiues to flip, after many minutes still nothing happens. I have refresh etc but no luck. AOL cant help.
I am running Win98 & would appreciate some suggestions.
Thanks all

To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

1 Quit all programs that are running.

2 Click Start, and then click Run.

3 Type regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll

and then click OK.

4 When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

If the problem is still not resolved, verify that the following registry values are present and correct:
Name: (Default)
Value: IDispatch
Name: (Default)
Value: {00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

Could you specify a particular site and also what you click on please?

or try the above! That was some mighty quick typing VOG!!

I cannot tell a lie - I copied it from MS Knowledgebase article Q281678 - in the past I've posted that as a "click here" and, of course, the person with the problem gets a blank window if they click on it!

I was a bit suspicious!! Still impressed though. That's some memory you've got. Surely your favourites isn't just a list of individual pages on the Microsoft site. Are you spending too much time on your computer? I know I am!!
