Webcam USB vs USB2

I am looking at buying a webcam, dont really want to spend more than £40. I have been to a couple of shops and read the boxes, one of which was a USB2 connection and it showed typical USB vs USB2 picture quality (USB2 more superior). I have USB2 connections on my pc but are USB2 webcams that much better than ordinary USB ?

If you use Yahoo.. you can initalise the supercam mode if you have a usb2 camera. Although in reality, its doubtful that you will notice much of a difference unless both parties are using similar equipment (broadband etc) and its quiet on the internet. It is better for making movies though :-)

I have found that Philip's tucam is the only one with 60 fps all others seem to be 30fps, but i stand to be corrected, any way quality is very good.
